Antonello Produce remains a family-owned and operated business, with Dino and his three sons, Adrian, Lucas and Anthony running the business.
Tullio Antonello started growing vegetables in Werribee South in the 1950's, supplying the original Queen Victoria Market. His son Dino supported his father growing up learning the growing trade and by 1979 he too was growing and supplying vegetables to the Footscray Wholesale Market. Dino fathered three sons, Adrian, Lucas and Anthony. They grew up market gardening from an early age, supplying artichokes and garlic whilst supporting the potato industry alongside their father in his role as a salesman and distributor for one of Australia's largest potato growers .
Fresh Produce was in the DNA so by 2005 Antonello Produce, Merchants and Wholesale Traders was born in the Footscray Markets. Today, the tradition of growing and marketing fresh produce continues to evolve at the families new trading site situated in the Melbourne Wholesale Market, Epping, Victoria (pictured above).
In 2016 when the Epping Market launched Antonello Produce invested into warehousing & storage facilities (pictured above) situated strategically close to the Melbourne Market Epping with a 6000sq/mt facility which includes bulk storage capabilities, multiple temperature controlled cold rooms as well as packing stations and a processing room.
